Yellow Gold Snowflake and Diamond Ring

This ring was originally set with a 0.025ct Diamond. Later, this stone was upgraded to a 3mm wide rose cut diamond for a larger look while still being low profile enough to fit in the current setting. The stone is set in a 14k yellow gold ring with a hand engraved snowflake. I was asked to make a ring that would be low profile and simple to fit my client’s active lifestyle. The gentle swell at the middle of the band was done to give the hand engraved snowflake more room to shine while also staying smooth and unobtrusive. We decided on a snowflake because winter is a huge part of my clients life. I also made a men’s band for this client from sterling silver and black diamond that fits with the theme of the original ring. The rings are finished with a high polish.
